Begin this process in class, then continue it at home:

For group members' wikis:

• Does the writer answer the assignment? If yes, what do YOU see as the governing claim for the project (in the case of Isis or the Gender/Race Switch)?
• Does the Analyzing Baron assignment include one of Baron's sources and a source from that source? Does the writer state whether the sources complicate any of Baron's claims? If so, how so? If not, how do they lend support to Baron's ideas?
• Do any paragraphs have odd breaks, lack white space, or look ugly on the screen? Does every wiki page have a "back home" link?
• Does the Gender/Race switch have photos? Does Isis? Note: they are not required for Isis but are VERY helpful. Are any photos or other visual elements just "dropped in" or have the writers discussed them properly in the text? How to upload directly to the wiki.

At home, return to the wikis and your own:

• Has the writer made minimal use of "is," "are," "was," and "were"? Are the verbs well chosen to express the action?
• Is every "suitcase upacked"?
• Has the writer avoided all of my Pet Peeves?
• Did the sources for the Topic Focus use proper MLA format for the assignment? Click the MLA tab at the library's page.
• Has the writer fallen prey to any "false rules" in the project? They are good to know now, before the final project (Hjortshoj 87-93).
