I do not mean professional help.  Let's hope that SL does not influence you THAT much.

 

When, however, you wander about and my avatar is not handy for a quick question, you can try several approaches. First, invoke the help menu (choose the "Second Life Help" option at top:

 

When the SL web page opens, you will want to select the "knowledge base" option, and a wide-ranging series of frequently-asked questions will appear:
